hidden cameras as it is basically installed to monitor the activities
of those who care for young children. It is a credible tool to identify
perpetrators of misdeeds in the home when the owners are not present.
It does not however, provide security for homes.
It is an ideal investment for those who have
young children and have to be away from the home to work. But
be aware there is a catch - in some states it is not legal to record
speech without the permission of the person being monitored. Therefore,
you must check the laws of the state before purchasing the camera or
the retailer should be in a position to provide you with that
information.
Due to the implied secret nature of
the wireless nanny cam, its other purpose has
become overlooked. It can be used by parents to keep
a watchful eye on the kids without being present in the room, thus
allowing them the freedom to catch up on chores or take a much desired
break. This has an added advantage in that it makes kids develop skills
to entertain themselves as well as solve mini problems of their own and
the parent can watch the development from afar. Other than the nanny,
the activities of the housekeeper can also be monitored and small
thefts can be ruled out.
Small businesses can also benefit
from a nanny cam because, if correctly positioned, it
can identify potential thieves in the employ as well as shop lifting by
customers.
At this point in time there is no law
against video recording in any state. So, where the state requires
prior permission for voice recordings, the nanny camera should only be
for video surveillance.
